Magnifico and Otantique both make the shortlist after showing signs of their best recently but Nicky Henderson's PRINCE DU BEURY now looks better treated and accordingly lands the selection in this handicap hurdle. The pick was looking a little stretched under some high looking burdens but is now at a much more realistic rating. His performance in what has turned out to be a hot novice handicap on his last start is better than the bare result suggested as he beat a couple of subsequent winners and while he is not one of the stable stars he looks to have a race win in him. Magnifico hinted at a return to form with a decent run over this trip last time. The form has begun to work out form that so although he is yet to really prove a liking for this ground he should go well. Otantique has won both his starts at this trip and returns to hurdling after some good displays over fences including winning off a mark of 120. He does look a better chaser than hurdler but he is going well and based on recent starts is well treated. Downing Street is other you could add to the shortlist though his mark still looks on the high side so we'll take our chance with Prince du Beury.
