Bodfari Creek has the scope to prove too strong for the Martin Pipe duo Kymberlya and Aslapoftheeuro, while Circle Of Wolves may run into a place in the finale. Bodfari Creek looked one to follow when making a winning bumper debut at Haydock last March but fell when fancied on only his second start over timber at Huntingdon in August and has a spell on the sidelines. He looked fit enough for his recent return at Hexham but found the favourite Great As Gold a bit too strong on the run-in and blew a bit afterwards as he was entitled to. Paul Webber's charge will be a different proposition here and although no world beater, should have the legs of Pipe's main hope Kymberlya who was soundly held on heavy ground at Uttoxeter when trying to give weight away last time. The ex-French performer can improve on that but is not one of the leading lights at Nicolashayne and is worth taking on. Pipe's other runner, Aslapoftheeuro is sure to have been schooled for his debut but a better bet for the frame may be Circle Of Wolves who, although a maiden on the Flat for Bob Jones, has shown one or two bits and pieces of form over timber, enough to suggest that he can be found a suitable opportunity in time. Bodfari Creek should safely have his measure here though.
