COMMEMORATION DAY is one of three course and distance winners to take to the track for this handicap and is put forward to score at the main expense of Dead Or Alive and Keepitsecret. Nigel Twiston-Davies has his yard in decent from of late our selection looks capable of following the trend. The experienced gelding ran a good race on his return from a six months absence when finishing second in a Stratford handicap chase and should pay his way. The ride of Dead Or Alive will be taken by the inform Richard Johnson. The jockey has been victorious on the six-year-old on two of his last three rides. He was unseated last time but a repeat of their last victory should see them there or thereabouts here. Jonjo O'Neill's Keepitsecret showed a good display of jumping when winning last time out on his first run on fast ground since last summer. He's still on a decent mark, but things may not be so simple for him here. Kilrogan and Lord Ryeford have won over course and distance in the past but will need to show some improvement if they are to feature here. This should be another competitive handicap, probably the best of the day and we side with Commemoration Day.
