Good Potential gets a narrow vote over the likes of Needle Prick, Westfield Dancer and Mags Two in an open looking seller. All of those mentioned, and indeed Maraud and Some Story, can be given some sort of a chance, but we shall stick with Good Potential who finished 12-lengths ahead of Needle Prick when they met over the course-and-distance a fortnight ago in the race won by Veverka. On practically similar terms, the form should be maintained, and David Wintle's 10-year-old should again be in the shake-up. Westfield Dancer has been placed on a number of occasions this term already and does not appear too badly weighted, while Mags Two, a beaten favourite at Uttoxeter last time, has to give weight away all round, but did win easily at Hexham earlier in the year. Richard Johnson partners Anflora who will strip fitter for the outing, and all in all, in what is a tricky race to assess, only a small investment is advised on Good Potential.
