Verdict

Total Victory has now had 21 starts over fences without managing to get his head in front and is unlikely to improve that record here. Bobby Bullock hasn't looked the same horse since returning from injury while Merry Terry is still in the handicapper's grip judged on his comeback third at Newton Abbot. Winning hurdler Aqualung was pulled up on his only try over fences so we'll take a chance on the erratic GOT THE URGE, who has the ability to win this if on a going day and should be suited the small field.
