Verdict

Having won a couple of point-to-points at the start of the year, Dalkingstown made a successful start to his career under Rules when just getting the better of Present Chief here in July but the runner-up is now 7lb better off and entitled to turn the tables. BUCKO’S BOY stayed on strongly to run previous winner Rory And Me to half-a-length at Market Rasen. There should be more to come from Jamie Snowden’s charge with that run under his belt. Witness Protection is another winning pointer entitled to respect under the champion jockey.
