Verdict
A half-brother to a winning hurdler in Ireland, Military Two Step switches to an in-form NH yard after winning a 2m handicap at Chester a month ago for Charlie Johnston. He must have decent claims but we’ll take dual bumper winner HARD AS NAILS (NAP) to improve on his hurdling debut at Cartmel given he represents last year’s winning trainer and jockey combination. Former stablemate Come On Du Berlais has a similar chance on the form book to the selection but is a bit more exposed. Our Nel, who showed promise in bumpers, is also worth a second look.
