In depth

Verdict

Navado gets narrow preference here over Rushneeyriver and Darjeeling. The selection won well last time on this track when beating Tritonville Lodge over 2m4f. The fast ground and first-time cheekpieces seemed to work the oracle that day and with the step-up in trip a plus they can hopefully do so again here. Rushneeyriver is a model of consistency and he ran a blinder here last time time when narrowly beaten by Potts Of Magic. He has everything in his favour here and should go close. Darjeeling was a fair second behind Zalda at Newton Abbot last time and she should be seen to even better effect over this longer trip. However, she is not the most fluent of jumpers and she is opposed for that reason. Templet is in good form and is the other to consider, but for the winner we will return to Navado.
