This is a really competitive event and the leading lights look to be Papillon de Iena, Losing Grip and City Affair and the vote is given to City Affair. The selection was well beaten at Stratford last time behind Pips Assertive Way but he does have plenty of ability and he should be capable of making his presence felt in this grade. Papillon de Iena has not won over hurdles for over two years but in truth most of his outings have been over the bigger obstacles. He has to be respected in this company and is definite shortlist material. Losing Grip has got some decent form in this grade and anything Sue Smith sends to post in these type of events has got to be respected. It would be no surprise to see this mare go well with ground conditions to suit. Tiffin Deano has been running creditably of late and is another with place claims, but for the winner we will stick with City Affair.
