Verdict

Not an appealing punting medium but the Emma Lavelle team must start hitting the target soon after a torrid spell and hopefully the consistent COOLE RIVER can put one on the board for them here. Stable runners have gone quite nicely in the past week or so and whilst unable to contend with the front-running speed of Australia Day last time, Coole River had the others well beaten off and looks on a decent mark. Mr Hudson has always looked a chaser but showed nothing on his return to action after a year off and it will be interesting to see how he goes with that run under his belt, Pure Faith and Rob Conti were disappointing last time and the consistent pair of Ixora and The Chazer are therefore put forward as likelier shortlist material.
