Watergate Boy showed little on his return from a 17-month absence for Paul Nicholls and is best watched whilst Cock And Hen has plenty of pointing experience but fell in a Cork hunter chase last time. He now makes his debut for the O'Neill team but it is obviously significant that Tony McCoy opts for Ace Fighter Pilot. He hasn't been seen since scoring over hurdles in December but has always looked a chasing type and rates an interesting recruit. The choice though is AMBION WOOD, a very useful hurdler but disappointing on his only two starts last term, both over fences. He's clearly been kept for the new season and can start to demonstrate why Victor Dartnall has always spoken about him in such glowing terms.
