With Godolphin's string still firing we are tempted by Black Eagle but he doesn't exactly look thrown in at the weights on his handicap debut so instead we make preference for course specialist SPINNING and hat-trick chasing Nevada Desert remains of interest. Four wins from eight starts is the course and distance record of the pick, who is also racing off a mark a pound lower than his last success. He shaped well in defeat last time despite the track racing on the fast side and given his main rivals have some questions to answer he looks the percentage call. Black Eagle comfortably landed a soft ground maiden at Nottingham on just his second start on his last appearance and although he has to be respected in this company it's difficult to tell whether his rating is a fair one. Nevada Desert scored over course and distance before setting up this hat-trick bid with victory at Doncaster last time. He's up another five pounds for that neck success and he may just be in the grip of the handicapper now. Brett Vale has to be considered after his win on his latest effort but Spinning loves it here and should have punters dizzy with victory.
