A surprisingly modest contest granted the prize money and RAINBOW SEEKER is our pick with Celtic Rebel and Transcentral as the others of note. William Haggas campaigned this gelding cannily in maidens and as a consequence, his mark of 59 could be exploited once he dropped in trip. The blinkers stay on but realistically he should be up to seeing off a 6lb penalty. Celtic Rebel has a chance of reversing form though his future is arguably over slightly further. Transcentral has had more experience than most. An uncontested lead is vital to her success. Fasilyanne represents a yard that have had recent winners at this level so has to be respected. Ruby Tallulah is perfectly capable of winning this though has a stinker of a post position. Agnes Love has plenty of early pace. Rainbow Seeker is the call in a wide open contest. (Ian Brindle)
