Magroom and Fiefdom are both consistent and should give their running again however ALQAAHIR won nicely here last time out and is taken to see off Red Suede Shoes. Interestingly enough jockey Tom Eaves has won this run-of-the-mill handicap for two years running so his mount Via Mia cannot be overlooked. She was picked up by current connections after filling third place in a Lingfield claimer in April and it would be no surprise were she to run well this evening. However we prefer Alqaahir who won readily here last time out. A 5lb rise in the weights for that win looks manageable and this Irish challenger should run well from a great draw. Red Suede Shoes has been in good form at Kempton and was a little unlucky to bump into the well-treated Sham Sheer last time out. He rates a player, along with the consistent Arashi and the dangerously well-handicapped Ella Woodcock. Fortunate Bid has some form from the summer that would make him of interest, however the likeliest candidate is Alqaahir who is nominated accordingly.
