    Verdict

Lady Friend, Sister Maria and Chord are the three to focus on in this handicap and the vote is given to Lady Friend. The selection ran really well under the burden of top-weight at Sandown last time and with this step-up in trip a big plus for her she should take plenty of beating. Sister Maria is respected as she did not do a lot wrong when third behind Malyana at Ripon last time. She is another that is upped in trip but she has run well on this surface in the past and she is entitled to give a good account of herself. Chord has won over this course and distance so he has proven form over this trip, as does Global Traffic who won last time. However, they don't look as progressive as Lady Friend who looks like a mare to stay on the right side of.
