    Verdict

Desperate Dan will struggle to win from stall 12, so we will opt with Danish Blues here to get the better of Rag Tag. The selection is a course and distance winner and he has the plum draw today in stall 1. He won well in this grade last time and he should go close again. Desperate Dan certainly has the form to win this but his high draw is a big worry and on that basis he is taken on. Rag Tag has only ever managed to win one race but he shaped well at Haydock last month in a race that has worked out well. However, he has since disappointed and he will need to show a bit more sparkle before we recommend him as a bet. Lady Hopeful is a course and distance winner but again she has been done no favours by the draw, and we will take Danish Blues to bolt out from stall 1 and lead them home.
