    Verdict

Lake Chini, Golband and Fyodor are three against the field in this wide-open handicap and the nomination is given to Lake Chini. The selection won well last time out when beating Pagan Quest and despite his penalty he looks well weighted and under similar conditions here he will be hard to beat. Golband rates the main danger as he also won well last time out when defeating Norcroft but the drop in trip has to be of concern and he is opposed on that basis Fyodor is another last time out winner with place claims but this looks more competitive than the race he won last time out and for that reason he is opposed. Extremely Rare also won well last time out but he will do well to give weight and a beating to some less exposed types and in a race that is full of progressive types for the winner we return to Lake Chini.
