Dr Cerullo missed much of last season before coming back well when making a winning return at Huntingdon last month and is fancied to follow up at the main expense of Kings Signal and Idris. The last mentioned won a bumper here on a soft surface last term and should appreciate the underfoot conditions but may just need the outing so is probably best watched. Similar comments apply to Jim Old's Quarrymount, while Mikado Melody was highly tried on his final start and could be of interest in this company. French import Secret Divin and Kings Signal, who showed promise on his hurdles debut at Plumpton earlier this month are others to consider but Dr Cerullo sets a decent standard and should be tough to beat.
