Brouhaha lost his action last time out and is not to be dismissed too readily today, however it is CHARLIE COOL who can score in the first-time blinkers. Ruth Carr's gelding shaped with more promise at the track last time out when held behind Wing Play and he is now down to a tempting mark of 81. The market should be watched closely with him as connections will be keen to get back some of the 22,000 guineas they paid for him back in July. Also potentially well-handicapped is Just Bond who is now 4lb below his highest winning mark, whilst at the other end of the scale Follow The Flag may be suffering following a consistent season. Any market support for Laurie Grove would look interesting for a shrewd yard, whilst Snow Dancer and Ethics Girl both come here in good form and neither can be overlooked. Agilete completes the line-up however his profile this year has been hit-and-miss and he is hard to recommend with any confidence. A quality handicap that looks pretty open, and the most tentative of votes is given to Charlie Cool.
