Victor Trumper is preferred to Stoneacre Gareth and Putra Laju. Victor Trumper has had his chances but he was far from disgraced when second to Fares on a recent start and this does not look to be any tougher as assignments go. Stoneacre Gareth hails from a yard that are back in some semblance of form after a quiet period. His latest run can be forgiven as he walked out of the stalls at Lingfield and could never get competitive. Putra Laju is less exposed than most and has hinted at signs of ability. A tendancy to pull hard has not helped matters in the past. Copper King demonstrated improved form on his latest start at Dunstall Park and cannot be discounted. A ready winner at Warwick, the handicapper clouted him with a massive rise and life has not been so easy. Victor Trumper looks to have the most obvious claims and we stick with him on this occasion.
