Mount Sandel is the obvious form choice here and he can come out on top ahead of Comber and Santando. Oliver Sherwood's five-year-old took on some decent bumper horses last season before landing a modest event at Worcester. His hurdles debut came at Aintree last month and he ran a race full of promise behind Bleak House. He is open to any amount of improvement and should be capable of winning a race of this nature. Comber was noted making late headway in a decent enough race at Warwick last time out and as it was only his second run over hurdles there should be more to come. The newcomer Santando was rated 70 on the flat and is from a yard in form so should be watched closely in the betting, however he will have to be a bit special to beat Mount Sandel who is our confident choice.
