Not a lot of form to go upon but Beck, Leprechauns Gold and First Bloom look the three for the shortlist and we stick with First Bloom. Paul Cole's inmate was a particularly expensive purchase at the sales and while it is an obvious worry that we haven't seen her until this time of the year, it could be that she hasn't quite lived up to expectations and connections are looking at her as a possible breeding prospect. The job is to find a maiden and there will be few weaker than this. Beck has to concede weight but does have the edge of experience. He will be handicapped following this run and might be better over further. Leprechaun's Gold is sure to have improved for the run. He didnt look to get home at Southwell over this trip but today's surface may be more conducive. Mardi ran respectably on introduction at Nottingham and is related to a number of middle distance performers. Tenancy was well backed ahead of a previous visit here and is dutifully watched in the market. Musical Beat is a Juddmonte Farms castoff and is another to note in the early trading. Carefree is respected from the Willie Haggas team although she was a relatively inexpensive filly. Not a strong contest and First Bloom is the recommendation.
