Fen Guest gets the confident vote in this maiden with Stoneacre Fred and Crusader's Gold rating the main dangers. The selection ran well on his debut when fourth last season and although disappointing on his first run of the season he is sure to strip fitter here and with his yard in better form he is taken to win this poor affair. Stoneacre Fred rates the main danger on his best form but he has had plenty of chances in similar races whitout taking one and is passed over for that reason. Crusaders Gold was a fair fourth behind Xpress Maite last time out and could improve for the fitting of a first time visor so should be noted in the market. Of the remainder How's She Cuttin' appeals a little on breeding and will not need to be anything special to take a hand in the finish but the suspicion is he may be sen to better effect over a longer trip in time and with this in mind for the winner we return to Fen Guest.
