Nonrunner
A really competitive handicap and one that can be won by YASHRID, although this is a tentative selection given there are interesting runners from some of the other top yards in Magnetic Force and Plato. Yashrid did well to win at Ripon last month and today's trip looks likely to suit. Over a similar distance when seen at Newbury he gave another good account to finish second. He is likely to have improved for his latest try and we will side with the Michael Jarvis option for this race. Magnetic Force represents for Sir Michael Stoute who has a 38% strike rate with three-year-olds here. He has attempted this trip twice before and hasn't exactly sparkled but if his stamina has come on at all after weakening towards the latter stages in both of those races then there is potential for an improved performance and he could challenge. Plato is stepped-up in trip for this handicap and has to be considered. However we go with Yashrid to defy the opposition and get the victory.
