Consistency is not a virtue that can be attributed to most of the field for this claimer but it still has all the makings of a competitive heat if the official BHB ratings are taken on face value. Makarim, who beat Zibeline at Kempton a couple of years ago, has some really solid form to his name and will be hard to beat if he runs up to his best. He fared well at Southwell at the start of the month and a race of this nature is still well within his compass. Twilight Haze saves his best for Wolverhampton and will find this drop back in trip more to his liking. However, he has a little to find with Toni Alcala and he has often let his supporters down when it come to a battle for the line. Toni Alcala, on the other hand, can be relied upon to run his race and he is taken to give Makarim the most to do. Joley Green is suited by the course and distance but rarely runs two races the same and is best watched here.
