Nicky Henderson's Caballe takes a drop in grade but will be suited by the conditions. Commanche Drums has to be considered at best but he has been absent for 447 days. Cruz Santa has a very good chance on official ratings but, even though conditions will suit, she is not one in which to place complete faith. Hoh Invader ran well in a Musselburgh seller two runs ago and that would give him a chance but, overall, lacks consistency. Lord Brex won in Grade 2 company at Aintree two years ago but has obviously had problems and won a Taunton seller in very easy fashion last time. He holds an obvious chance and, with a first-time visor on in place of cheekpieces last time, they can keep him interested enough to win again. As such, he gets the vote. The Last Mohican, Santa Lucia and Moving Earth are others about whom a case could be built but we'll stick with Lord Brex.
