        Verdict

        A relatively open finale where a few have chances and the short list comprises of Town House, Campeon, Borzoi Maestro and Lady Hopeful, and we take the latter to score. Peter Grayson's mare enjoys coming off a strong pace and can have things set up for her with one or two dashers in the line up. Supporters of the selection will clearly be a little anxious to see her make some sort of break as she can be too pedestrian at times, but she can settle in behind them from stall number seven and be produced late on to take the prize. Town House ran well when finishing ahead of the selection last time but stringing consistent efforts together has never been her forte and followers may have to wait a while again before she gives them a return. Campeon is winless from 12 all weather outings and, although he has gone close once or twice, it looks like unlucky 13 here, while Borzoi Maestro is back below a Southwell winning mark, but has to show us more before carrying this pundit's money. Not a race to get heavily involved in then, and we suggest Lady Hopeful.
