      Verdict

      Medici Code has been so impressive in a recent Southwell win that it seems unthinkable he can get beaten here and he gets the confident vote ahead of Ella Y Rossa and My Mirasol. The selection toyed with his opponents last time on a surface which is admittedly different to this. Nevertheless, he travelled superbly and simply destroyed them by 14 lengths and more and it looks best to catch him again while he is clearly very hot. Ella Y Rossa looks next best. David Evans' charge beat Pieterson here last time out over seven furlongs but is effective over a mile. A few pounds extra won't help her now though and she is just opposed. My Mirasol showed signs of a resurgence when just touched off over c&d last time and as a previous winner over this trip here can be relied upon to go very well again, but Medici Code left a big impression at Southwell and can follow up.
