In depth

Verdict

Grande Roche,Countback and High Frequency are three against the field in another poor affair and it may be wise to stay in the bar but something has to win and the vote is given to Grande Roche. The selection was a fair second in a better race behind Ninth House last time out. That form looks rock solid in the context of this race and he need only reproduce that effort to win this. Countback rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Moon Emperor. That form has since been franked and he should be noted in the market. High Frequency is another that could go well on his latest second behind Sovereign Spirit but he is hard to win with. Sand Repeal won well last time out but has yet to win over this trip and may struggle in this more competitive affair. Of the others J R Stevenson has dropped to a handy mark and could go well at a price but for the winner we return to Grand Roache
