In the opener, Boss Mak gets the call ahead of The Rebound Kid and Zorooni. Boss Mak showed promise when fifth on his seven-furlong debut here and, with the winner having been placed in a handicap off 69 since, and the runner-up having won well in maiden company, normal improvement from his racecourse appearance should see him play a part today. Broadway Calling has shown some promise in two starts, while Height Of Spirits looks modest overall, but The Rebound Kid showed promise on his seven-furlong Wolverhampton debut and could go well. Grand Design has shown only a little promise, while Prince Darius, a half-brother to the Guineas-placed Princess Ellen, will have to step up markedly on his racecourse debut to feature. Stamford Street's second to 57-rated winner Luloah in a claimer on her debut rates a mention, while Zorooni showed promise on her Wolverhampton debut and a tongue-tie might help her put a disappointing run behind her last time. Overall, though, we will stick with Boss Mak.
