        Verdict

        Another tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Garstang, Glenviews Youngone and Stoneacre Boy and the nomination is given to Garstang. The selection was a fair second behind Drink To Me Only last time and off the same mark here he will be hard to beat from a good draw. Glenviews Youngone rates the main danger on his best form despite top weights but all his best efforts have been over a longer trip and for that reason he is opposed. Stoneacre Boy is another that could go well on his best form as he is dropping in grade but he is far from consistent and at likely odds he looks worth opposing. Thoughtsofstardom was second behind Dingaan last time out. That form has since been franked so he should be monitored in the market. Of the remainder Pauvic could improve for a first time visor and could run well at a price but in a race that throws up more questions than answers for the winner we return to Garstang.
