A tough start to the card and from a shortlist of NADDWAH, Fancy Vivid and Wishformore we will side with Naddwah. The selection showed up well on her debut at Salisbury in October when she finished sixth behind Qaraaba. She looked like she would learn plenty for the experience and if she sees out this longer trip then she should have a sound chance of opening her account. Fancy Vivid shaped with promise on her debut at Kempton and if she can build on that then she would have an obvious chance, but she is bred to appreciate slightly further than this and she might be worth following when she is upped in trip. Wishformore has twice gone close here, finishing second on each occasion over seven furlongs. She has shaped as though she will find this longer trip more to her liking and on that basis she is given a chance. Luca Cumani's newcomer Librettista is worth consideration on her racecourse debut, especially given the form of the stable who have been firing in plenty of winners. Heaven Forbid looks the best of the remainder with racecourse experience, but this looks a decent opportunity for Naddwah to open her account and she gets the vote.
