In depth

Verdict

We will side with FIRE RAISER in the finale; the list of dangers is headed by Decency and Togoaviking. Andrew Balding is a trainer in good form and Fire Raiser can provide him with another winner. He looked in need of the run at Salisbury last time but he had shaped with promise previously and he could be well treated on his handicap debut. Decency disappointed on her previous try here but that was over a trip short of her best and she has since been out and opened her account. Togoaviking is also making his handicap debut and he is certainly bred to appreciate this step-up in trip. Golden Ratio is another who should enjoy this longer trip and she has gone well here in the past. Lucky Diva makes limited each-way appeal, but the vote is given to Fire Raiser.
