BOLD ADVENTURE ticks plenty of boxes in this handicap and he gets the vote; the list of dangers is headed by Picot de Say and Lastroseofsummer. Willie Musson's 6-year-old arrives here in good form having scored here last month. His last six wins have come here so he is something of a course specialist and from a good draw he can add to his course successes. Picot de Say would have definite place claims on the pick of his turf form but he has been disappointing on both of his starts on the all-weather and with that in mind he is hard to recommend with confidence. Lastroseofsummer is an unexposed filly and she ran her best race yet here last time. This longer trip should play to her strengths and she is definite shortlist material. If I Had Him won well at Yarmouth last week and he shaped with promise on his only previous run here. However, a 6lbs penalty will make life tough for him today. Snow's Ride has won over the course and distance and he has a decent record on the all-weather. However, his effort at Southwell last time was very disappointing and his best days may now be behind him at the age of 10. This is a wide open handicap and the vote is given to Bold Adventure.
