The high draw is a slight cause for concern, but FIVE GOLD RINGS is put forward as the pick with Just Timmy Marcus and Sarasota Sunshine the main dangers. The selection arrives here in good order, she looks progressive and with her trainer Jamie Osborne in good form she does look to have a solid chance. Just Timmy Marcus sprang a surprise by winning on his racecourse debut at a massive price over this course and distance. It will be interesting to see if he can back that up today on his handicap debut, but it was a very weak race he won last time so it remains to be seen what he actually achieved. Sarasota Sunshine won well at Lingfield last time, but that was over 7f and it is questionable whether this drop in trip will suit. Jeremy Gask has had plenty of success over the winter on the all-weather and Theta Wave has shown that he is not devoid of ability. However, he will need to improve if he is to make the frame tonight. If Five Gold Rings can get a clear passage from her outside draw she should prove difficult to beat.
