Verdict

QUEEN GAMRAH scored over a mile at Kempton before shrugging off a penalty in impressive style on the Tapeta surface at Newcastle. Mark Johnston’s progressive filly gets the vote now handicapping. Patience has run out with Baadirr, who returned a losing favourite for the fifth time in succession at Kempton last time and is fitted with headgear today while Lexington Rebel attempts this longer trip for the first time having previously gone close over 7f. Lady Red Moon’s earlier double came over shorter trips and Locked N' Loaded won over further here last month but Abadie is less exposed debuting for a new yard and could figure.
