Verdict
After just one run over hurdles, Hawthorn Cottage was pitched in at the deep end in Listed company at Kempton. She was well beaten but this should be more to her liking. Elk Bridge has claims on her form in Ireland and should now be fit enough to do herself justice. Rayna's World was third over 2m here on her hurdles bow but it’s not certain a longer trip will suit. CLONDAW CAITLIN (NAP), placed in a point, finished strongly to land a bumper here last month. Her yard won this 12 months ago and the Court Cave mare is a sister to a winning hurdler.
