TRADE CENTRE is in good form and he can win again; Desert Dreamer and Red Somerset are the main dangers. Trainer George Baker has been in decent form of late and Trade Centre can maintain the momentum. He has changed hands since his last run when he scored at Lingfield and the change of scenery may help to find him a little bit of improvement. At this level he looks to have a big chance and he rates as the one to beat. Desert Dreamer has gone close on each of his last two starts and his outing last time in a handicap was a sound effort. This is easier, but he does have a poor draw to overcome and that does rather temper confidence. Red Somerset has got a fair strike-rate on the all-weather but he was very disappointing last time out and although that race has worked out quite well and this is easier, he is hard to recommend with confidence. Reg Hollinshead won this race last year so course and distance scorer Bahamian Kid is not without hope, especially as this is the first time he has been dropped into a claimer. Decameron has yet to be even placed on the all-weather so he looks one to take on. We are therefore happy to stick with Trade Centre as the pick.
