Verdict
TEXAS QUEEN can land the opener at the main expense of Clifton Bridge and American Agent. Mick Channon's filly went close here back in October when she chased home Little Garcon over 6f. She shaped as though a drop in trip would suit that day and she is taken to go one better this afternoon. Clifton Bridge has only had the one run but it was a promising effort to chase home Passion Overflow at Kempton. He is well bred and he won't have to find much improvement to get competitive today. American Agent has the best of the draw and he also has an American dirt pedigree but he was a little disappointing on his debut at Lingfield and he will be need to show more today if he is to make his mark. Richard Fahey's newcomer Aurora Lights is worth a market check on her racecourse debut, but the yard are having a quiet spell and unless the market vibes are positive then she is probably best watched. Future Regime has had a few chances now and looks worth taking on, and we will return to Texas Queen as the one to beat.
