Nabir is best in at the weights judged by official BHB ratings but Peter Niven's gelding has been off the track for a long tome and is probably best watched so preference is for Tedstale, who gets the vote ahead of Typhoon Tilly. The last mentioned is a shade more consistent than the selection and can again be expected to run his usual race, while Missie Baileys has been running well but faces a stiff task at the weights. The Irish raider Amberlina may improve for his debut run on this surface last week and is another to consider along with Ben Bacchus, who may do better back on the Polytrack. Tanning has given little sign of encouragement of late and a safer bet looks to be Tedstale, who is well in at the weights, handles the surface well enough and is more than capable of giving weight away all round, provided that he runs up to or near his best.
