The shortlisted three here are Blue Monkey, Musical Locket and Tutor, with the selection being Musical Locket. We are getting tired of saying it but Blue Monkey has a good profile for this race and, based on the form book, holds serious claims. The downside is that he has been beaten when sent off as favourite in two of his last four runs. Callisto Moon has proven consistent of late and, with a rating in the high 60s, looks one of the better options for the race, along with Musical Locket, who showed plenty of promise when third on her Kempton debut over a shorter trip than today. A very interesting newcomer is the Willie Haggas-trained Tutor, who cost 92,000 euros as a yearling, so watch the betting for clues. Of the others, Resplendent Ace, who has shown some promise, and the newcomer Diksie Dancer could prove best but, for the selection, we will side with Musical Locket.
