Cape Win has improved with each start and may be worth chancing first time in a nursery where Pommes Frites and Charlie Delta rate the main dangers. The selection lost little in defeat behind the 79-rated Acheekyone over this trip at Lingfield last time so looks feasibly well treated for his debut in this grade off a mark of 74. Lingfield claimer winner Casablanca Minx has more to do under a penalty in this grade and of more interest may be Musical Romance, who has only raced over sprint trips but may improve for today's longer trip. Gattuso ran well over course and distance last time but a 3lb higher mark leaves him with more to do, while Grenane has yet to prove his effectiveness over this trip and looks a doubtful stayer. Pommes Frites has an obvious chance on the pick of his form but has disappointed of late and may be best watched at present, while Charlie Delta has given the impression that the step up to seven furlongs may suit and he has to be respected. Cape Win is going the right way though and he gets the vote to open his account.
