Verdict

What Katie Did should take plenty of beating in this claimer to open the card and he is nominated to land the prize over Stevie Thunder and What's For Tea. The selection justified favouritism to score last time when he beat I Dont Do Walkin. He has never won over this trip which is a slight concern, but he has run well over it in the past and from a good draw he sets the standard. What's For Tea won last time at Kempton when she beat Deckguard and this filly will surely be the one to capitalise if the selection fails to run his race. Stevie Thunder made a winning debut at Musselburgh and he looked as though he would come on plenty for the experience. He is one to note in the market and he could go well if he handles the surface. Thomas Mallory has run some sound races this season and he tackles this trip for the first time tonight. However the draw could have been kinder to him, and we will stick with What Katie Did who can lead them home.
