        Verdict

        Ruth Carr could not explain the improvement delivered by NEXT SECOND when the filly battled on well to score here this month. However, her charge has now gone well here the last twice and remains well handicapped off a mark of 49. Obviously there's a query against her reliability but an on-song effort should see her in the mix again. Coronation Cottage is back on the all-weather for the first time since July 2021 but she does have a course and distance win to her name from way back and has delivered a solid campaign for the Saunders team. She looks a danger and usually runs her race. Suanni was just under a couple of lengths behind the selection last time and is respected accordingly, whilst it would be no surprise if Lola's Moment went close to losing her maiden tag.
