Verdict

CLEARING HOUSE won over a mile at Lingfield earlier this month and failed to follow up by the narrowest of margins over 7f at Kempton on Wednesday. The return to a longer trip here should suit and John Ryan's charge gets the vote. Idol Deputy has been placed in similar company of late and should give another good account, while Barton Bounty also has claims dropping down a grade after showing recent signs of a return to form. Wrecking Crew has been running well without success over longer distances but may struggle over today's trip.
