In depth

Verdict

Richard Fahey sent Lost City to the Curragh on Sunday for the opening juvenile event of the year and he started odds-on. Unfortunately for his followers he finished last of the five runners and the Malton handler is on a retrieving mission here with ONE KOOL DUDE, who has much more of a two-year-old's pedigree than his stablemate and should be forward enough. Jim Bolger's Snowflake Dancer is by Dylan Thomas out of a Sadler's Wells mare so wouldn't have been expected to be an early two-year-old but the County Carlow trainer knows what he's doing, while Ger Lyons gets numerous winners on this track so the cheaply-bought Bible Black will know his job. Of the remainder, the filly Yo Credo has the speediest pedigree being a half-sister to a 5f all-weather winner.
