Queens Blade completed a hat-trick in very minor company then didn't take to heavy ground at Yarmouth but that was only two days ago. Swinley made his track debut last week and was caught right on the line but could have done without a 4lb rise. Abbaleka makes his handicap debut and will need to find more but Silver Start looked a likely future winner when just beaten at Chepstow and had little chance in a Newmarket auction race last time. AZTECA has shown enough pace in her last two starts at Beverley to be handed the vote from what could prove a fair mark though Les Eyre is likely to get a race out of Birkenhead in the near future.
