        Verdict

        Ambassador didn't run badly over a mile at Ayr and looks the type to do well here but ARIJ caught the eye after a slow start at Windsor and can progress enough to take this. Buwardy showed the benefit of his opening run when staying on strongly at Chelmsford and should make further progress while Imperial Square, who was just behind, can also make enough improvement to get into contention. French Asset, who cost 100,000gns, has a stamina-packed pedigree so should be suited by this trip on his debut.
