EASTERN HILLS is very nicely handicapped on his best form and hasn't been with Alan McCabe for long, so we'll side with the five-year-old following a ready Beverley success. That was a non-handicap race so he escapes a penalty and is in fact rated 5lb lower than when last tried in a handicap, so if he can repeat the effort these may struggle to peg him back. Tres Froide has done well here lately without quite winning and a place could once again be her best hope, as it may be for Qaraqum whose best efforts so far have come at Bath. Chichi is tried in a visor and that may enable an improved run from this lightly-raced type so keep an eye on the market while Join Up may once again take home a minor medal as his record of 15 places from 37 starts indicates; he only won one of those and therefore needs treating with caution.
