Verdict

Of those to have raced only Come On The Irons makes appeal as he's expected to improve for his debut and represents top connections but it's the newcomers that stand out here, in particular TAHAAMAH. The King's Best colt is entered in next year's Derby and on paper that's easy to understand as he's a half-brother to the top-class Russian Rhythm. The concern would be that 7f looks to be a sharp enough test but he may just be good enough to outclass these and enhance his trainer's 33% strike-rate with juveniles here in recent seasons. Materialism has no fancy entries but is a half-brother to a smart juvenile sprinter so one would expect him to show up well, whereas In Babylon is from a family that improve with racing and may need time.
